KITV: Governor Ige signs ivory sales ban into law

Thursday, June 30, 2016

Maleko McDonnell of KITV4 News in Hawaii has a great story of the recent news of Hawaii passing the broadest wildlife trafficking law.

“Governor Ige signed what is being called the nation’s broadest Wildlife Trafficking Ban into law this week. Act 25 goes into effect immediately, but enforcement is being delayed until next Summer to give businesses time to come into compliance with the ban.”

Check out the story online on KITV’s website.
